Saturday

Today is Saturday and breakfast starts at 8 a.m. And we will close today at 5. What better way to start off your New Year’s weekend than a hot cup of coffee and great breakfast? We will be serving bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, corned beef hash, grits, omelettes, waffles, french toast and more until we close or we run out.
 
Of course we also have our usual fare of the best hand pattied burgers in town along with a variety of other sandwiches, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, etc.
 
Our soup today is vegetable beef. Our Paleo feature is honey glazed salmon and our seafood feature is Tilapia, which can be grilled, honey glazed, blackened, fried or lemon peppered.
 
We will be closing at 5 today and tomorrow.

Friday

Today is Friday and we close at 9 p..m. Our lunch specials today includes fried catfish, fried chicken livers, fried chicken, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chuck wagon steak, beef steak Parmesan and lemon basil roasted chicken.
 
Our soup of the day is Pasta e Fagioli and our sides of the day is Cole slaw. Our featured Paleo selection today is honey glazed salmon and our featured seafood selection today is shrimp and grits.
 
New Years Eve and New Years Day are upon us! We will close at 5 p.m. on both days! Make sure you call or come by and get your turnip greens and black eyed peas for New Years Day. You can pick them up on Saturday (by 4 p.m.) in case you won’t want to be getting out on the 1st. We will also be serving ham on Sunday to go along with your Black Eyed peas and turnip greens. Sunday we be staying open a little later (til 5) to make sure we can service those late risers on New Years day!

Thursday

Thursday means our special today is Dwight’s delectable chicken and dumplings (and they are just as good as grandma’s!). We also have our other daily specials (fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, beef steak Parmesan, chuck wagon steak and lemon basil roasted chicken).
 
Our soup of the day is Pasta E Fagioli and our vegetable of the day is field peas with snaps. We have several Paleo and seafood options available.

Christmas Eve

Today is Saturday and breakfast starts at 8 a.m. And we will close today at 3. What better way to start off your Christmas weekend that a hot cup of coffee and great breakfast? We will be serving bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, corned beef hash, grits, omelettes, waffles, french toast and more until we close or we run out.
 
Of course we also have our usual fare of the best hand pattied burgers in town along with a variety of other sandwiches, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, etc. We will be running limited vegetables until we run out since we will be closed for 4 days.
 
Our soups today are Pasta e Fagioli and vegetable beef. Our Paleo feature is honey glazed salmon and our seafood feature is Tilapia, which can be grilled, honey glazed, blackened, fried or lemon peppered.
 
Remember we will be closing early today, at 3 p.m. and will remain closed until December 29th at 11 a.m. to allow ourselves and our employees some much needed family time. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

Friday

Our soup of the day is Tomato Bisque and our sides of the day is Cole slaw. Our featured Paleo selection today is garlic ground beef and turkey and our featured seafood selection today is shrimp and grits.
 
We will be open tomorrow for breakfast and lunch but we will be closing at 3 p.m.and will remain closed through Wednesday, December 28. We will re-open at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 29. Happy holidays everyone!

Our holiday hours are:
Saturday (Christmas Eve 8 – 3)
Sunday Christmas Day – December 28 – CLOSED
We will re-open on Thursday, December 29 for our normal hours of operation from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Tuesday

Today is Tuesday and we close at 9 p.m.Our specials today include beef stew, fried chicken, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, chuck wagon steak, beef steak Parmesan and lemon basil roasted chicken.
Our soup of the day is vegetable beef. Our vegetable of the day is Louisiana style large white Limas. Our featured Paleo selection today is bacon wrapped chicken thighs and our seafood selection today is blackened Tilapia.

Monday

Today is Monday. Dwight says a big bowl of red beans and rice and a cold beer is like a little slice of heaven! Lucky for you that today is Monday and that is just what we’ve got for you! We close at 9 but the red beans and rice are first come, first served, so come and get some before they run out.
 
We also have our regular lunch fare of fried chicken, fried catfish, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, beefsteak Parmesan and lemon basil roasted chicken.
 
Our soup of the day is vegetable bisque and the vegetable of the day is rutabaga. We have several Paleo items on the menu and lots of seafood items to choose from.
 
We are in the last few days of taking orders for Christmas catering. Please make sure you call or come by to order your pans of delicious mac n cheese, dressing, sweet potato souffle’ , veggies, soup or desserts or homemade pies.

Sunday

Good Morning. It’s Sunday and we close at 3 today. For brunch and lunch we have chicken and dumplings today. We have our usual Sunday specials: a brunch bowl, a chicken salad croissant and chicken and waffles in addition to our normal lunch fare. You can get a “regular” waffle or you can get our “special” waffle which is a jalapeno cornmeal waffle with sriracha syrup; it’s the PERFECT amount of warm and sweet! You HAVE to try it.
 
Our soup today is tomato bisque and our featured side today is rutabaga. We have several Paleo and seafood items available.
 
Don’t spend all day Christmas eve or Christmas day cooking… you know you want to spend time with your family and friends. Let us do the cooking for you! We are now taking orders for Christmas catering. Please make sure you call or come by to order your pans of delicious mac n cheese, dressing, sweet potato souffle’ , veggies, soup or desserts or homemade pies.
 
Just a heads up that we will be closing early on December 24th (3 p.m.) and will remain closed until December 29th at 11 a.m. to allow ourselves and our employees some much needed family time.
